No one knew how the little cat had managed to climb to the top of the electric pole.
All anyone knew was that by the time people noticed, the cat was already trapped high above the ground under the open blue sky. Her tiny paws clung tightly to the top of the pole, her body curled up in fear. Beneath her was a dizzying drop that made everyone looking up feel their hearts tighten.
At first, perhaps the cat had only been curious.
But once she had climbed too high, she no longer had the courage to come back down on her own.
