Today is Bramble’s birthday.
In front of him sits a small cake with a single candle glowing softly on top. It is not a grand party. There are no decorations, no crowd, no fancy celebration. Just a little cake, a warm light, and a dog who looks as if he is still trying to understand why this moment is for him.
