What looked like a harmless plastic water jug nearly turned into a deadly trap for a small stray dog searching for food near a garbage dump.
That day, the little dog wandered through piles of trash, quietly sniffing around for anything left to eat. He was likely starving. Among plastic bags, empty containers, and discarded waste, he noticed a large plastic water jug and curiously pushed his head inside.
For him, it was just a desperate attempt to fill his empty stomach.
But he had no idea that the jug would quickly become a terrifying trap.
When he tried to pull his head back out, it got stuck tightly in the narrow opening. Panic took over. He backed away, shook his head again and again, and scratched at the plastic with his paws, trying to free himself. But the more he struggled, the tighter it seemed to grip him. With his head trapped inside, he could no longer see clearly, and his breathing became faster and more frantic.
In fear, the little dog stumbled around blindly.
He bumped into bushes, tripped near the roadside, and kept shaking his head with all the strength he had left. Every step became dangerous because he could not see what was in front of him. His breathing inside the jug grew heavier and more desperate, as if he were slowly losing strength with every passing second.
If no one had noticed him in time, he could have collapsed at any moment.
Thankfully, a passerby saw the heartbreaking scene.
The person rushed over but did not dare pull the jug off by force, afraid of hurting the dog or making the plastic tighten even more around his head. Instead, they gently held him still, tried to calm him down, and carefully used scissors to cut around the mouth of the plastic jug.
Every movement had to be extremely careful.
The little dog was still trembling with fear, and the rescuer had to cut the plastic bit by bit to widen the opening. No one could afford to rush, because one wrong move could have injured him even more.
After several tense minutes, the jug was finally removed.
The little dog immediately began panting hard, his body still shaking from the terror he had just endured. But the most important thing was that he was safe. The rescuer gently gave him water and comforted him, helping him calm down after such a frightening ordeal.
This story moved many people and also serves as a painful reminder that carelessly discarded objects can become life-threatening hazards for stray animals. A plastic bottle, an empty can, or even a bag that seems insignificant to humans can trap a small, helpless life in panic and exhaustion.
Thankfully, this little dog was seen in time.

And because of that, he was saved from a plastic jug that could have cost him his life.
